We have developed a test version of a new search form for the Beazley Archive Pottery Database (BAPD): http://www.beazley.ox.ac.uk/xdb/ASP/searchOpen.asp
While allowing access to the whole database and serving the needs of specialists, the new search form is, we believe, more intuitive and streamlined.
After further testing and improvements we intend to make it available as an alternative to the existing search form, which will nevertheless remain in use for those who prefer it. Please try it out the beta and use the feedback form on the website to let us know what you think.
We are especially interested in comments from users who are very familiar with the existing ‘Full database’ search.
